How to insert a Siggy into your profile & other How-To's!

How to add a signature:

Go to your User CP in the upper left hand corner.
Under Settings & Options click 'Edit Signature'.
Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website
or
Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer.
You can then preview & or save your signature at bottom of screen.


How to add an avatar:

Go to your User CP in the upper left hand corner.
Under Settings & Options click 'Edit Avatar'.
Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website
or
Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer.
Save changes at bottom of screen.


How to make sure your siggy or avatar shows up in your posts:

In the top left corner under The Hodge banner got to: User CP
Under Settings & Options go to: Edit Options
Scroll Down to
Thread Display Options:
Make sure all 3 options are checked:
Show Signature
Show Avatars
Show Images
Click Save Changes at the bottom

the image BB code is off, so I can't add a siggy :(

Extremely easy to do,first remove one from the package,then Insert it between upper and lower lips,then light it..Enjoy..

I tried to insert my ziggy and aviator but it keeps saying invalid hmmm not sure if i'm doing something wrong lol i read the how to's lol still not working for some reason lol hope ya can help me out.

Your profile settings needed to be set to allow signatures to be seen. Can you check that and we can go from there?

Yes it can allow signatures everything is on expect for PHP BB settings everything else is on :) i'm just not for sure where a i put the link at for my zizzys and avitar lol would i put it in the big blue box or the lil white boxes and the bottom?? i tried lil white boxes and bottom and it says invalid or do i somehow upload them to my computer? lol i'm soooo computer dummy rofl:rofl: we will get it figured out together i'm sure of it. And can you kindly please see see id casinoman can post yet it he is over excited lol he can't wait to have fun with us:) Thanks luckyleo you and darea are awesome! (((HUGGS)))

Hey Missy,

Yeah the code goes into the white box.

It should be like this

and then url http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a208/luckyleo70/Sigs4people/Sigs4people2/missytresized.gif /url

the url and /url brackets should be before and after the image.

And then to center it use the same [] brackets before and after the code
center in the first code and /center after the code.

See if that works, and if not we'll see if Daera can just add it for you, ok? :)

I know that's confusing LOL.. I can't post the code correctly without the image just showing up...

Hey luckyleo rofl when i clicked that link it brought up my image lol and it was in photo bucket so is that what i need to upload is photo bucket?? maybe that's my problem?? lol i never used photo bucket lol but i signed up for an account incase let me know lol thanks

it's not centered lol its ok at least it's there lmao. I can tell ya what i was doing to try and get image i was going to where ya said for me to pick up my ziggy and i was trying to copy and paste that site lol that's prolly why it was saying invalid then when ya just sent me one of my ziggys it has photobucket lolso i must need photobucket to use? If so how would i pick up my ziggys and put them in there? lol this is new to me hehehe not great with graphic and designs lmao. Hope to hear back from ya soon (((hugs)))

Hi ya lucky lol yayyyyyyyyyyy i think i understand it now roflmao i figured it out by getting photobucket and uploading to there and save them all. Now i can use whichever one i want anytime yayyyyyyyyy i'm so proud of myself lol. Now i really feel silly :laugh: i'm now like DUH:hysterical: lmao Now i know how to do this ziggy thing wooooooooohooooooooo lol thank you sooo much luckyleo for the beautiful ziggys:)
