View Full Version : Microgaming pulling out of US market

As of 11/10/08 microgaming will no longer accept registrants from the US. Some of the casinos will still allow you to play if you already have an account however many will not. It will be a crap shoot to see who allows us to stay and play.

One more kick in the behind......:omg:

So just what are Americans to do now? I love microgaming. Are there other reputable casinos you would recommend that are not microgaming for USA players:way_to_go:

Hi guys..

Although it is true that most all Microgaming Casinos are not going to be taking any NEW players after this weekend.

To the best of my knowledge, it is not true that this will affect EXISTING players of Microgaming Casinos.

As long as you're not in a banned state, and you open an account or have an account before Monday, November 10th, 2008, you should be able to continue to play at your favorite Microgaming Casinos as usual.

I've talked to most of the Microgaming groups, or have received emails from them regarding this... and I haven't heard of any that are making any changes to existing players.

If anyone knows of any that are no longer taking U.S. players at all as of Monday, please let me know, because I can't think of any that I haven't confirmed existing players will be able to continue to play.

If you're an existing player or open a new account before Monday, and are not in a banned state, you should be able to continue to play at any Microgaming Casino that currently allows U.S. players.

The only change we'll see after Sunday is not being able to open new accounts at the Microgamings.

No, I live in Iowa.

That's odd. Did you ask any of them why your accounts were locked? Maybe it has nothing to do with where you live. Or maybe it does, and they're seeing your IP address to be in a banned state, even though you're not actually in one. If that's the case, it could be sorted out quickly and easily by contacting customer service and providing proof of your address. If you need any help you can pm me. We're always happy to help if we can.

You said you didn't trust RTGs. There are many I don't trust either. But there's no online casino that I trust more than iNetBet Casino. I'm sure you know iNetBet is RTG. I truly believe the people that run iNetBet are honest and fair, and treat their players well. And, they're cashouts are lightening fast! I can't say enough good things about them. iNetBet is the best casino online! (http://www.inetbet.com/affiliates/aiddownload.asp?affid=353&redirect=http://www.inetbet.com/thegames/download.asp)

Hi loutaf,

You won't get the boot if you're not in a banned state. You just won't be able to open any NEW Microgaming accounts after this Sunday. So if there's any other Microgaming Casinos you've been thinking about trying but haven't registered an account with yet... NOW is the time to do it.

Rich Reels (http://www.richreels.com/?btag=va783326_aff_b000354_26052008_68918_ATS) and Villento (http://www.villento.com/?btag=va783326_aff_b000334_14122006_42436_ATS) are very reputable casinos. Two of the better Microgamings actually. The manager there is very helpful whenever we've gone to him for help in the past. I trust Rich Reels and Villento.. and I'm sure you'll be able to continue to play there for a long time.

I tried Go Wild Casino also. That was a VERY nice no deposit bonus they're giving new players. I'm definitely going to make a deposit there soon.

You may deposit at Go Wild casino, but you won't do it with Netspend.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
I checked with support and as of right now Netspend is refused. They also do not have Quick Tender / Use My Wallet at this time either. But support told me that may change.

I also heard the same about Microgaming Casino's.

I would suggest to anyone who likes Microgaming that you may want to download other Microgaming casinos which you do not have an account with and register before the 10th of Nov.
A deposit is not needed to open an account. This way you will be able to deposit in them in the future.
Just a thought ;o)

I received email (as an affiliate) from the Fortune Lounge Group, and they are pulling all they have, 7Sultans, Royal Vegas, PokerTime, VegasPalms, VegasVilla, Platinum Play, FortuneRoom, VegasTowers and DessertDollar.

Another was from the Referback group, jackpot city, Riverbelle, The Gaming Club, LuckyNugget, and King Neptune. An affiliate mgr from this group wrote me when I emailed about existing players:
<o:p> </o:p>
In the short terms players will be able to continue placing wagers, however the long term view is to become 100% independent of US purchases...
So, for now, I believe it is simply that NEW players will not be accepted. In the long run, unless our new Pres is a gambler, it is simpler and less expensive, as it stands with the US now, for these casinos to cater to those overseas. It may have been different if Kentucky had not pulled the crap they did, since some of the payment processors found ways to work with the US clientelle; but after that fiasco, when so much of the gambling is now coming from around the world, the US now makes up only a fraction of the gamblers out there, and it just isn't worth the frivilous lawsuit fees to the casinos.

Daera is correct is stating that iNetBet is a very reliable and trustworthy casino. I've been playing with them for years upon years, and have never not been paid in a most timely manner, and the customer service rocks!

There are others out there, and I'd bet :yes2: that the smaller ones will do one of 2 things now. They'll either start playing by the rules for payouts and trustworthiness to pick up the MG casino players, or they'll take advantage of our crippling status and take us for everything. I know that iNetBet will continue their service, so what are some other names we can trust, Daera? I only play iNetBet and the MG casinos. I'm lost. :hmm:

What do you mean by "Fortune Lounge is pulling all they have? "

I play at Casino eXtreme (http://www.casinoextreme.com/affiliates/aiddownload.asp?affid=1291) all the time they have instant pay outs if you have a click to pay account I dont remember the other ones they instant pay to. I have been playing there for 3-4 years now and have never had a problem They also give cash back on your deposit the next day if you lose. It is an RTG and has been great to me.

Sorry....that was a lil' confusing. According to them, they are shutting their doors to all US traffic. I got the below from them:

Fortune Affiliates has been informed by its client, the Fortune Lounge Group, that with effect from Monday 10 November, they will no longer be accepting any player registrations from residents of the United States of America.

I also just received email from the GrandPrive group -

No doubt you’ve heard rumors about the latest goings on in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:state w:st="on">Kentucky</st1:state></st1:place>. First we were told that only the states around <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:state w:st="on">Kentucky</st1:state></st1:place> would be locked out by our casino software provider, Microgaming. However, it has now emerged that MGS will not allow any new <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">USA</st1:country-region></st1:place> registrations at any casinos, as of Monday, 10 November 2008.

I've written them and asked since there will be no NEW registrations, if the US based players will be able to continue their play. They need to really be detailed when they advise. It is becoming a might confusing.

Hi CasinoGal,

Fortune Lounge is continuing to do business as usual with existing U.S. players. As are just about every other MGS casino. I haven't heard of any yet that are making any changes with existing U.S. players.

If you re-read the quote you posted from Fortune, it says that they are not taking any new player registrations after this weekend. That means they're not accepting New U.S. players. Existing players are not affected by this, unless they live in a banned state.

Yep, thats what I read from it, too. US players that already have an account are alright, but each email says eventually they fear they will all pull out from us. I can't actually blame them, with all the hassle they have had from the US gov.

But for now and until Monday, the 10th, sign up and play and win what you can now ;)) I certainly am!

This may not be where I am supposed to reply to....but I would like to say something about the Rival Casinos. I clicked on your links and downloaded and some of the casinos, I played and played for hours. One of them I went back into and deposited the other day, and I was up to over $3000
when I check with them to see how much more I had to wager, it was like, $1400. That was great with me....I still wanted to play more. Finally as my money was skrinking fast, I went to the cashier and asked for live help since I did not see the option of getting a check mailed to me, or even a bank transfer. Ultimately, the help desk told me the casino had to request if I wanted to join 'usemywallet' so i said fine....and then I received an email from them telling me I didn't qualify. hmmm. There was only 3 options to choose from to cash out and I wasn't a member of any of them. And the help person told me I did not qualify for one of the other ones. So, may I ask....how do you cash out at Rival Casinos?
I had every intention of cashing out $1100 but got a little down about not being able to cash out and went in and played for days on that $1100.
Now I have none, and I am not sure I want to even deposit there again if I don't have any hope of being able to cash out. Oh, and don't get me wrong, I LOVE THEIR SOFTWARE AND ALL THE GAMES I haven't had such a good time in a very long time playing there. lol I would appreciate any comments or maybe anyone being able to tell me how to cash out

I had CakePoker send me the link to sign up with QT (UseMyWallet) and had no problem whatsoever. Who told you that you didn't qualify? UseMyWallet is the one who make that decision. Was it one of the Rival Casinos that Daera recommended? If it was, I've found it always good to come to her before I spend the whole thing, just in case she can do something. She is really good at working out solutions to these things with the casinos.

The person at the live help actually told me I had to be referred by the casino. So, I told her go ahead, and then I received an email telling me that I didn't qualify. (from Paradise 8) I really enjoyed playing, I hit alot and had a wonderful time....and it would have been really nice to have cashed out. (my fault for going back in and playing it!)

Hi popcorn,

You should write an email to whichever casino(s) you play regularly, and ask them about getting you set up with quicktender. Perhaps you will "qualify" with a better deposit history. ;)

Makes sense that a single deposit wouldn't really make a casino want to stick it's neck out for you, only to have you never come back again. I'm not saying this is/was your intention...just saying that maybe that's what made Paradise8 turn you down. Good luck!

ATTENTION U.S. RESIDENTS:

As many of you might know by now, all Microgaming Casinos will not be allowing new registrations from U.S. players after Monday. However, U.S. players will be able to continue to play as usual.

Microgaming is what many consider to be the best online casino software available.

Anyone living in the U.S. that doesn't already have an account open at all of the following Microgaming Casinos, you might want to open one now. This will be your last chance to do so. It doesn't cost anything to open an account, and once you have an account opened, you'll have the opportunity to play in these casinos in the future if you wish to. Otherwise, you will not have that choice.

Many of the following Microgaming Casinos have some type of Freeplay promotion going, or No Deposit promotion.

Get your accounts open now if you're in the U.S. This really is the only chance you'll have to play at Microgaming Casinos after Monday.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, I LOVE THEIR SOFTWARE AND ALL THE GAMES I haven't had such a good time in a very long time playing there. lol I would appreciate any comments or maybe anyone being able to tell me how to cash out

The following options are both available for U.S. players wanting to withdraw funds from Rival powered casinos.

Ewallet Xpress
Quicktender/UseMyWallet

As far as qualifying for UseMyWallet, any casino can send you this invitation and once you have that.. it's good to use at any casino that has the UseMyWallet option in their cashier. You might want to go to the casino that you've spent the most money with the last year, and ask them if they can send you a QT (UseMyWallet) invite.

I don't see why you couldn't use Ewallet Xpress. I've never used it before myself. I haven't needed to. Have you gone to their website to see what's needed to use that and withdraw from Ewallet Xpress?

And although I didn't see 'Wire Transfer' available, I'm not sure that it's not available either. I'll check on that for you.

I used to use EWallet Xpress and if I recall correctly, they have some severe limits on how many and how much you can deposit with that system. Something like 3 deposits per week and 300.00 a month or some such thing. Whatever it was; it was way too low for how I was gambling at the time.

I also managed to become overdrawn using a prepaid CC. How? I dunno...but I am in the red with EWE for about 50 bux. :uhoh2: I think it may have been one of those instances where my deposit timed out.

Thanks LuckyLeo and Daera for directing me here. I am still playing at a couple microgaming casinos, but they have pulled the progressives. I certainly hope, upon hope that they do not leave the US market entirely, as I enjoy several of their slots, and love their Keno.

I'm almost over my Mega Moohla withdrawl....

Unfortunately, U.S. players are no longer able to play any of the progressive games or the Flash Version of any Microgaming powered online casinos any longer.

New registrations are also no longer an option for U.S. players at any Microgaming powered casino.

I only noticed yesterday that the progressives were gone. While I understand why all of this is going on I do have to admit to being disappointed in having contributed my cash to the growth of those progressives to no longer have a shot at them.

I am however happy that I can still play at the casinos!

Well, I have been kicked out of or ripped off casino's, but never one I cared for. Everyone should be able to do that to a rogue casino. What do you think the bonuses are about (Play Money") Yeah, I'm still trying to get into the CIA. Hope it works!!:omg:
